The successful service CarPay is nominated in the Swedish Design Awards (Svenska Designpriset) in the category “Identity – digital”. The innovative service moves the Volvo card into your mobile and is developed by HiQ together with Volvofinans Bank. HiQ is also nominated in the “Editorial – Customer magazine  print” category for the HiQ Magazine.

“Together with the positive response we receive from our clients, we see this as proof that we are delivering what we promise – innovation with high quality, always with the aim to simplify for people,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO at HiQ.

CarPay is a step in Volvofinans Bank’s digital transformation journey, in which the company wants to challenge, think in new ways, and simplify the customers’ everyday lives. The service gives a full overview of all car related purchases, loans, and payments, and it also enables using loyalty points directly with your mobile. HiQ has worked closely with Volvofinans Bank all the way from strategy and concept to design, UX, and technical realisation.

“Volvofinans Bank took the Volvo card and said “how do we make this card digital?” That was the starting point of CarPay, and a possibility for Volvofinans to offer a completely new set of services. The service platform will be developed further and continue to simplify and improve customer service even more,” says Jerker Lindstén at HiQ.

At the time of launch in April, Volvofinans set a goal to have 120,000 users by the end of 2016.

“That number has already been reached. And according to a survey, more than 97 per cent of the CarPay users would recommend the service to a friend. We are very proud of the customer response and of the Design Awards nomination,” Lindstén continues.

HiQ is also nominated for this year’s HiQ Magazine – HiQ’s publication that in 2015 won gold in the Swedish Design Awards, that time in combination with HiQ’s Annual Report.

“We always want to be at the forefront with the solutions we create together with our clients. In the same way, we are never afraid to challenge and think different in our communication. HiQ Magazine is no regular customer magazine – it’s simply HiQ, and our fourth nomination in a row shows that we continue pushing the limits. I want to say congratulations to the team behind it, both here at HiQ and at Kärnhuset,” says Jenny Normark Sperens, Head of Communications at HiQ.
