HiQ is assisting InfoSolutions with their assignment from the Public Health Agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) to increase national accessibility of testing for Covid-19. It involves PCR testing, which diagnoses active coronavirus infection.
“This is the second project we’ve participated in that aims to reduce the impact of Covid-19 on the world. It’s nice to see that our broad knowledge in digitalising the healthcare sector and e-health will help control the pandemic,” says Helena Forsmark, Managing Director of HiQ Stockholm.

HiQ’s assignment is to be the principal project manager with the task of leading the testing project “Self-testing – Covid-19” and to coordinate contact between Inera, 1177.se, 15 of the country’s 21 regions, the various laboratories that analyse the tests, pharmacies, personnel at the mobile testing stations and the transport companies.

HiQ is also working continuously with starting up the self-testing project in new regions and is helping with the new referral and reply flows and their accompanying integrations. The job also includes project management when a region switches labs, ensuring that regular checks are performed and documented, and that deviations are identified and followed up.

“Our consultants are working hands-on to increase the efficiency of testing in Sweden and to get these services out to new regions. We have substantial and broad experience with labs and testing as well as project management in healthcare and specific knowledge of the underlying systems used by the health services. That’s why we can help the regions to gear up their testing quickly. I’m very happy and proud that we can help in this way,” says Peter Lager at HiQ Stockholm’s healthcare digitalisation initiative.

HiQ works on assignment from InfoSolutions, which offers services and products for management of information between systems in healthcare. InfoSolutions’ LabPortalen system and Comachi booking system are two very necessary systems for managing the entire flow from need to test result.
