HiQ receives new SEK 20 million order for training simulators for the JAS 39 Gripen from the Swedish Defence Material Administration HiQ has received new orders worth a total of SEK 20 million from the Swedish Defence Material Administration. The new order is for the enhancement of advanced simulators for training ground staff in JAS 39 Gripen maintenance. HiQ has worked with hi-tech flight simulators for the JAS 39 Gripen since HiQ began operations in 1992, and has extensive experience within defence industry developments. "Simulators are used to train staff in a cost-effective way on how to maintain the aircraft. Different stages can easily be taught using a computer system rather than the aircraft. These systems save the Swedish National Defence both time and money", says Rolf Anderson, Managing Director HiQ Approve. "The assignments are high-tech and require in-depth systems know-how both as regards complex computer systems and knowledge of the JAS 39. HiQ has this expertise which secures our position as a world leader within the field," says Lars Stugemo, CEO HiQ International.
