HiQ has signed a framework agreement with Jeppesen Systems AB, specialists in customised resource optimisation solutions for the transport industry. Among other things, the agreement covers services within project management, quality work, development and testing & verification. It is effective for two years.

“HiQ has enjoyed very good cooperation with Jeppesen Systems, formerly Carmen Systems, for several years. The new framework agreement means that over the coming two years we will be able to offer Jeppesen a wider range of services than previously, since the agreement has been expanded to cover more areas. Naturally we are very pleased that our client has shown such confidence in us and look forward to our continued good cooperation," says Jerker Lindsten, Managing Director of HiQ Göteborg.

Jeppesen offers technical solutions for navigation and optimised operation of air, sea and rail transport and is a wholly-owned subsidiary in the Boeing Group. Jeppesen Systems AB develops systems for planning, scheduling, control and optimisation of traffic and staff for airlines and train operators. Until autumn 2006 the company was called Carmen Systems, before being acquired by Jeppesen. Based in Gothenburg, Jeppesen Systems AB employs around 340 people.

“Jeppesen Systems AB offers the market globally leading solutions that allow efficient management of air traffic and airline staff, such as scheduling, in the complex and changing environment in which a modern airline operates. HiQ has many years’ experience of the development and quality assurance of advanced information systems for various companies and naturally being able to continue to assist this client with our expertise is very inspiring,” continues Lindsten.
