HiQ signs framework agreement with Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency
The Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency, PTS once again shows its confidence in HiQ and has decided to use an option to extend its framework agreement. The agreement has a term of at least one year and covers technical investigations relating to infrastructure and Internet services as well as auditing and analysis of the granting of licences. It also includes financial and commercial studies within fixed and mobile telephony, IP telephony and network architecture.
“HiQ has cooperated closely with PTS for many years. Among other things, we have assisted with the assessment of UMTS applications, 3G measurements for operators, analyses of number plans and investigations relating to expansion of the 3G networks. Naturally we see the fact that PTS has decided to extend the framework agreement with HiQ as a sign that our client is pleased with our services,” says Patrik Boman, Managing Director of HiQ Data. The Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency is the Swedish authority responsible for the areas of telecoms, IT, radio and postal services. Its aim is to provide every Swede with access to efficient, secure, value-for-money communication services. “HiQ has worked with leading suppliers, operators and users in telecoms for over ten years. Regulatory matters in respect of communications services are a very important part of today’s telecommunications market. Working with regulatory authorities as well strengthens our expertise and our offering to all clients in this segment. We look forward to a continued good business relationship with PTS,” continues Boman.
