HiQ has signed a new framework agreement with FMV, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration. The agreement covers services within the area of ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) and is effective for one year with the option of renewal.

“HiQ has worked with clients in defence for over ten years and enjoys very good relations with FMV. We have been supplying FMV with services in the area of ILS for several years, for example within RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), a young and very exciting technology. The fact that we are now signing a new framework agreement with our client in this area is of course very pleasing,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO of HiQ. ILS is a technical method for managing and planning technical work or production from the idea and planning stage through the entire life of the equipment and continuing until its phase-out. An example might be electronic marking of machinery or vehicles. The new framework agreement allows HiQ to offer services in a number of areas within ILS, such as maintenance system design, development of support systems, business development, production of technical specifications, etc. In total, FMV’s purchasing volume for services covered by the new agreement is expected to amount to SEK 40 million per year. “In this procurement FMV evaluated the tenders received in a process that included making enquiries among the bidders’ other clients, who gave an assessment based on FMV’s criteria. Thanks to very positive references from our clients, HiQ was ranked top in four out of five areas where HiQ has made an offer in this procurement. Naturally I am incredibly proud to have such proof that our clients are satisfied with the quality we are delivering,” says Tomas Täuber, Account Manager at HiQ.
