For the first time the world’s Scrum elite will gather in Stockholm to share experiences and learn more about what is now the fastest growing method by for software development - Scrum. HiQ is the main sponsor of the conference, which will take place on 20-22 October. More than 300 people will take part and the conference will be led by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber, who created the Scrum method.

“At HiQ we work on projects in which we solve advanced technical challenges close to our clients under great time pressure. We have used Scrum and other agile methods for a number of years and have introduced Scrum to several of our clients – always with very good results. So being the main sponsor of this event seems an obvious thing to do. Quite simply, we want to show that we think the method is good, that we are familiar with it and that more people should start using it,” says Magnus Gudéhn of HiQ.
In essence, Scrum and other agile methods are based on the same ideas as Toyota uses to meet its high quality requirements. Self-organised teams and the ability to deal with changing requirements are major factors in its success. HiQ has around 100 certified Scrum Masters.
