The focus is on long-term growth strategies and the assignment is well within the scope of HiQ's expertise. Since 1995, we have helped customers earn money on new technology and new services. HiQ's international expansion is also accelerating with the increasing number of international assignments. We see this as a very positive development," says Lars Stugemo, Deputy Managing Director at HiQ. HiQ has longstanding experience of commercial and business development and can offer its customers both top-level expertise and considerable experience of the telecommunications sector. The assignment for Priority Telecom will involve HiQ managing the development of the financial and commercial planning aspects of the operator business. "UPC owns and develops Europe's largest privately owned cable TV networks. This makes the company one of the largest and most interesting players in the field of broad band communication in Europe. UPC currently supplies digital TV, broad band IP, telephony and computer services via its cable TV network. The demand for HiQ's services is increasing from our international customers, particularly in fields where our experience of deregulated telecoms markets is seen as valuable," concludes Stugemo.
