HiQ wins a framework agreement and gains further ground within digitisation, innovation and active safety in the automotive industry. As vehicles and their components are increasingly becoming connected, HiQ’s experience and know-how becomes important for global brands in the business.

“HiQ is happy to be a part of this development, which in the end is all about creating a simpler and safer everyday life for people,” says Patrik Holm at HiQ in Linköping.

With everything becoming connected, new possibilities and transformed business models are created. Not least in the technology-intense automotive industry. Vehicles are being connected and new traffic systems are developed. In the near future, autonomous vehicles and road-trains will be common on our roads.

”We have vast experience from working with clients in the automotive industry, both in our domestic market and globally. In addition to active safety, HiQ is part of breaking new ground within areas such as infotainment and connectivity. The automotive industry has a high level of innovation and we are only in the beginning of the development,” says Jerker Lindstén at HiQ in Gothenburg.

In the new framework agreement HiQ becomes an important partner in the development of active safety systems – innovative products that make it easier to identify hazards and thereby avoid accidents.

”I’m proud and happy that we are gaining ground within an industry that can truly make a difference and simplify people’s lives. Because of the positive development we aim to hire a number of new employees during the year, to our automotive undertakings in for example Gothenburg, Linköping, Södertälje and Västerås. We have a strong team and look forward to adding more talented people who want to be part of creating a better world,” Lars Stugemo, president and CEO at HiQ, concludes.
