Peter Caap - new Managing Director for HiQ Approve Peter Caap has been appointed new Managing Director for HiQ Approve. "Business at HiQ Approve has been extremely good over the past ten years and our future remains bright. I am handing over operational responsibility as Managing Director to Peter Caap - a highly experienced and proficient successor. He and the other key staff at HiQ Approve will continue to develop the company as a quality and profitable enterprise," says Rolf Anderson, Managing Director of HiQ Approve. "I will be staying with the company, working on business development and overall strategy," says Anderson. "We have many years' experience and a vast amount of expertise in the development of training simulators for the JAS 39 Gripen. Over the course of the last year, HiQ has also strengthened its position as a supplier of services within the area of network-based defence. I am looking forward to working closely with the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and other customers within the defence sector," says Lars Stugemo, CEO of HiQ International. Peter Caap has an MSc in mechanical engineering from Linköping Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California. Caap has been employed with HiQ since 2000 working with sales and projects within HiQ Approve. Caap previously worked at FFA, the Aeronautical Research Institute of Sweden, where he was head of the aeronautical engineering section. He also worked at Saab on aircraft development.
