APPOINTMENTS TO SOKOLÓW'S SUPERVISORY BOARD

Polish meat production and processing company Sokolów held an
extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in Warsaw on 9 December
2004. The main business on the agenda was to appoint members to the
Supervisory Board.

New appointments to the Supervisory Board were Lars Danell from
Sweden, Niels Mikkelsen from Denmark and Stefan Widomski from Finland.
Other members of the Supervisory Board are Kjeld Johannesen and Svend
Erik Sørensen from Denmark, Simo Palokangas and Matti Perkonoja from
Finland and Dieter Wehowski from Germany.

Having its meeting on the same day the Supervisory Board elected Lars
Danell chairman and Simo Palokangas and Kjeld Johannesen deputy
chairmen.

The appointments relate to the fact that Saturn Nordic Holding AB, a
joint venture owned by HK Ruokatalo and Danish Crown, became the
majority shareholder in Sokolów during autumn this year. Saturn Nordic
Holding has a 72.8 per cent stake in Sokolów.
