HK RUOKATALO AND DANISH CROWN GIVEN GREEN LIGHT FOR COOPERATION IN
POLAND

In early August HK Ruokatalo Oyj and Danish Crown reported their
intention to begin strategic cooperation in Sokolów S.A. Poland’s
leading meat company.

The scope of the envisaged cooperation and Poland’s stock market
legislation required the approval of both the Polish authorities and
European Commission.
The required approval has now been obtained and cooperation can be
started as planned through holding company Saturn Nordic Holding AB.
