HK RUOKATALO OY TO IMPLEMENT ORGANISATIONAL REFORM

HK Ruokatalo Oy, the company carrying out HKScan's Finnish operations, will
implement an organisational reform underpinned by the industrial restructuring
which started in 2006 and involved the centralisation of functions to Vantaa
and Forssa. The reform will clarify the management model required by the new
industrial structure and also further streamline operations. 

The core business functions of HK Ruokatalo effective 11 August 2008 will be
sales, marketing, the order/supply process and industrial processes. The
following changes and appointments will therefore take place in the company's
management. 

Mr Antti Paavilainen continues as senior VP of sales responsible for retail,
HoReCa and industrial sales as well as exports. 

Ms Hanna Kukkonen, MSc (Econ & Bus Admin) has been appointed senior VP of
marketing and product development. Ms Kukkonen is in charge of marketing
planning and execution, product development and quality matters. Her previous
post was as innovations director at HK Ruokatalo. 

Senior VP Samuli Eskola will assume responsibility for the order/supply
process. Mr Eskola's remit covers strategy work, supply chain steering,
logistics and environmental matters. His previous post was as senior VP in
charge of the processed meat and convenience food business. 

Juha Sarkkinen, MSc (Food Science) has been appointed senior VP in charge of
industrial processes. Mr Sarkkinen's remit covers slaughtering and cutting
along with meat, poultry and processed meat and convenience food production,
technical functions and materials purchases. Mr Sarkkinen joins HK Ruokatalo on
11 August 2008 from the post of production director with Atria Russia. 

Effective 11 August 2008, the Management Team of HK Ruokatalo Oy will comprise
managing director Jari Leija, director Jukka Laiho, senior VP of sales Antti
Paavilainen, senior VP of marketing and product development Hanna Kukkonen,
senior VP Samuli Eskola, senior VP Juha Sarkkinen, creative director Jyrki
Sukula and employee group representative Martti Meriniemi. Marjukka Hujanen
serves as secretary to the Management Team.
