HK RUOKATALO'S OWNERSHIP IN SOKOLOW TO 21 PER CENT

According to the plans announced earlier, HK Ruokatalo has increased
its ownership in Sokolow, Polish meat company. As a result of separate
transactions made with Polish investors during September and October,
HK Ruokatalo aquired 10.0 million shares thus increasing its 11.1 per
cent share hold to 21.1 per cent. With this figure HK Ruokatalo is the
largest shareholder in Sokolow. HK Ruokatalo has had a stake in
Sokolow since December 2002.

Sokolow is the largest meat company in Poland and the only company of
its branch to operate nationwide. Its particular strength is pork
processing. Sokolow's six production facilities throughout Poland have
been modernised thoroughly during the recent years and they are export
approved by both the EU authorities and the United States Department
of Agriculture (USDA).
