KAI SEIKKU TO BE HK RUOKATALO?S NEXT CEO

KAI SEIKKU TO BE HK RUOKATALOS NEXT CEO Meeting today, HK Ruokatalo Groups Board of Directors has appointed Kai Seikku as the companys next CEO. To date, Kai Seikku has carved out a career for himself in business management consulting and marketing communications. He joins HK Ruokatalo from advertising agency hasan&partners, where is currently CEO, and McCann-Erickson, where he is Country Chairman. Initially, Seikku will assume the post of managing director of HK Ruokatalo Oy, which is responsible for the Groups industrial operations in Finland, on 1 September 2005. He will take up the post of CEO of the entire HK Ruokatalo Group on 1 April 2006, when HK Ruokatalo Groups present CEO, Simo Palokangas, retires. HK Ruokatalo Groups Board of Directors considers that Kai Seikkus personal expertise and abilities will excellently complement the HKs existing insight into consumer food habits and needs. Furthermore, as its international operations continue to expand, HK Ruokatalo can benefit from the depth and breadth of international experience Kai Seikku has garnered in his previous positions. Kai Seikku was born in 1965 and has an MSc in Economics and Business Administration. Like his predecessor Simo Palokangas, he will also assume the post of managing director of LSO Osuuskunta. Mr Seikku is on the Board of Directors of Turo Tailor, Trainershouse and Broadcasters.
