NOTIFICATION UNDER THE MARKET SECURITIES ACT

Under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Market Securities Act, we
hereby announce that HK Ruokatalo Oyj has received the following
disclosure about change in ownership.

Warrants attached to HK Ruokatalo’s 1998 Employee Shares was exercised
in January 2004, increasing the number of the company’s A Shares by
595,705. Due to this Sampo Life’s ownership in HK Ruokatalo has fallen
below one-twentieth (1/20).

Sampo Life now owns HK Ruokatalo’s shares as follows:
