NOTIFICATION UNDER THE MARKET SECURITIES ACT

disclosure about change in ownership.

Sampo Life insurance company’s ownership in HK Ruokatalo Oyj
subsequent to conversion of tranches of the convertible capital note
on 30 January 2003 is as follows:
