APPOINTMENT IN HKSCAN'S MANAGEMENT TEAM 

Sirpa Laakso, MSc (Econ.), 45, has been appointed HR director and a member of
the Management Team effective 13 January 2011. Ms Laakso will be responsible
for HKScan's HR functions and for their development in all of the Group's
market areas. She will report to CEO Matti Perkonoja. 

Sirpa Laakso is joining HKScan from the post of SVP, Human Resources at Altia
Plc. She has previously held positions in HR administration at i.a. Vaasan &
Vaasan Oy, Novartis Finland Oy and Efore Plc.
