Report January - August 2001 HL Display AB (publ) * The Group's net sales for the first eight months of the year increased by 22% to SEK 682 m (561) compared to corresponding period 2000. * Profit before tax for the period amounted to SEK 55 m (30). [REMOVED GRAPHIC] January to August 2001 in brief The consolidated sales for the first eight months of the year increased by 22 per cent to SEK 682 m (561). Operating profit for the period increased by 51 per cent and amounted to SEK 53 m (35). Profit before tax was SEK 55 m (30). The period's net investments in fixed assets amounted to SEK 35 m (34). As stated in previous reports the growth target of at least 20% is estimated to be reached this year. The profit margin is expected to show an improvement on 2000 but will, as previously stated, not reach the long-term goal of 10-15 per cent.
