Höegh LNG - Mandatory Notification of Trade

Höegh LNG Holdings Ltd. ("HLNG" or the "Company") hereby notifies that it has purchased 100 000 shares in Methane Ventures Limited ("MVL"), an investment company owned jointly by the Company and the management of the Company holding shares in the Company.
The term of the management's co-investment in the Company through MVL was first extended from 30 June 2012 to 30 June 2013 and subsequently to 31 December 2015 under the original terms of the investment. Following the recent positive development of the Company's share price, some investors have decided to sell whole or part of their shareholding in MVL to the Company and will use the proceeds for personal purposes and payment of taxes.   
The following primary insiders have sold their shareholding in MVL to the Company, with their respective remaining investments in the Company set out in brackets:

• Camilla Nyhus-Møller, SVP Legal & Compliance: Sold 5,000 shares in MVL (continue to hold 47,000 options in the Company)
• Thor Jørgen Guttormsen, Director of Höegh LNG AS: Sold 60,000 shares in MVL (continue to own 20 000 shares in the Company). 

The share price paid by the Company for the shares is based on the weighted average trading price of the Company's share on Oslo Børs 30 June 2014. Following the purchase of the shares, the Company and management owns 61% and 39% of the shares in MVL, respectively.
