Höegh LNG : Mandatory notification of trade / Management Stock Option Scheme

Hamilton, Bermuda, 5 April 2017 - Höegh LNG Holdings Ltd. ("Höegh LNG" or the "Company") advises that 34,999 stock options in the Company with a strike price of NOK 39.3 have been exercised. The strike price has been adjusted for dividends paid since award of the options as provided for in the stock option agreements.

The Company has resolved to settle the exercise of options by delivering a number of shares equivalent to the market value less the strike price. The Company has further purchased 19,497 of its own shares in a series of transactions in the period 11:29 hours to 15:47 hours on 4 April 2017 at an average price of NOK 87.40. The shares will be delivered to the relevant employees as settlement of the options exercised.

After the exercise of the above options, the total number of options outstanding in Höegh LNG is 1,917,426.
