Winner of Hoffmann + Krippner industrial PC selected
GB Innomech Ltd wins industrial panel PC from Hoffmann + Krippner
Earlier this year, input device specialist Hoffmann + Krippner gave machinebuilding.net readers the opportunity to win one of its flexx-IPC M customisable panel PCs. GB Innomech (Innomech) based in Cambridge has now been announced as the winner of this reader offer.
Innomech is recognised as one of the UK’s leading automation consultancies and helps its clients improve manufacturing efficiencies, product quality and costs. The company works predominantly in sectors such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, cleantech and with global brands; as well as SMEs and earlier-stage businesses looking to bring breakthrough technologies to market.
Innomech is currently designing robot-based assembly cells for a number of major cleantech product manufacturers and plans to integrate the flexx-IPC M Advanced model into one of those new systems.
Built around a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor the flexx-IPC M Advanced panel PC is optimised for high performance duty. The 10.4-inch resistive touch screen and 49 function keys (with 22 self-label keys) as well as an integrated numeric keypad give extra flexibility of use.
“Innomech is delighted to have won the flexx-IPC. We are looking forward to working with Hoffmann + Krippner over the coming months as we customise it for one of our latest systems,” said Tim Mead, operations director at Innomech.
