Kennet Almkvist joins Höganäs’ management team –Mark Braithwaite assumes business area position
Kennet Almkvist assumes the position as Senior Vice President Commerical at Höganäs AB as of January 1, 2018. Mark Braithwaite, presently CFO, takes on the role as President Business Area Automotive APAC.
“Kennet will be an important contributor to Höganäs, the Commercial department and the management team with his long experience and knowledge in our business and technology”, says Fredrik Emilson, CEO.
Kennet has held various executive positions at Bayer and H.C. Starck, mainly in commercial roles. The past couple of years Kennet was Vice President Global Sales and Marketing for the Division Surface Technology and Advanced Ceramics Powder (STC) at H.C. Stark.
“Kennet has a great drive, team spirit and creativeness”, says Fredrik. “He will be integral in forming Höganäs’ new and extended customer offering following the acquisitions of Metasphere Technology and STC.”
Mark Braithwaite has worked at Höganäs since 2003 and been the company’s Chief Financial Officer since 2014. As of March 1 he assumes the leadership for Business Area Automotive APAC.
