Holmen 2020 Annual General Meeting: information relating to coronavirus

Report this content

To reduce the risk of spreading the virus, Holmen’s 2020 AGM will be kept brief and will be held without any reception or food and drink afterwards.

The company’s Board of Directors and Group Management will not be attending the AGM, with a few exceptions such as the Chairman of the Board and the CEO. During the AGM the CEO’s address will be reduced to a few minutes. A more extensive review of 2019 by Holmen’s CEO Henrik Sjölund will be published on holmen.com at the time of the AGM.

For shareholders who are concerned about the spread of infection, we would like to remind you of the option of participating via a proxy. People who have visited an area of risk or who have been in contact with someone who has the new coronavirus are recommended to participate by proxy.

Authorisation forms for proxies to represent shareholders and exercise their voting right are available to download at holmen.com.

Holmen’s business concept is to own and add value to the forest. The forest holdings form the basis of the business – an ecocycle in which the raw material grows and is refined into everything from wood for climate-smart building to renewable packaging, magazines and books. The forest is managed to provide a good annual return and stable value growth while our production operations are run with a focus on profitability and greater value added. In 2019 Holmen’s net sales were approx. SEK 17 billion and the group has approx. 3 000 employees. Holmen’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Large Cap. For more information, visit holmen.com.
