Horse Powertrain appoints first Head of Sales USA

London, UK (28 August 2025) – Horse Powertrain, a leader in innovative and low-emission powertrain systems, has strengthened its global management team with the appointment of Thomas Lewis to the newly-created role of Head of Sales USA & Global Corporate Sales Methods.
Lewis is an automotive and mobility executive with over 20 years of experience, having previously held key leadership roles at Bosch, Vitesco Technologies, and Webasto Group. With extensive experience managing end-to-end sales activities in markets across the globe, he has a proven track record of establishing strategic partnerships with major automotive brands.
Most recently, Lewis was Vice President of Sales for Webasto, heading the sales team for the entire Americas region with responsibility for its regional customers. Lewis sat on Webasto’s Executive Leadership Team and played a pivotal role in the company’s restructuring and turnaround program, driving cultural change and process excellence throughout the sales function. His prior role was as Global Head of Sales for Vitesco’s electrification division, where he led his team in establishing new business across North America. Lewis holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan, and speaks English and Japanese.
