Hanover, Germany (07 November 2025) - Horse Powertrain, a leader in innovative and low-emission powertrain systems will showcase a line-up of solutions at AGRITECHNICA 2025 – the world’s largest agricultural machinery trade fair – via its Horse Technologies division.

Engines exhibited will include systems designed for direct vehicle propulsion, along with new solutions designed specifically to serve as power sources for range-extended EVs (REEVs). Along with standalone solutions, Horse Powertrain will also be showcasing its new S10 engine within a prototype Corvus Terrain utility terrain vehicle (UTV).

HORSE S10

The HORSE S10 is a 1-liter, 3-cylinder engine that can be fueled with gasoline, ethanol, or flex fuels. Capable of outputting 57kW at 6,250rpm, it is designed from the outset to be adapted for a range of industrial applications globally. As part of a recent collaboration between Horse Powertrain and Corvus, the S10 engine – with Stage V cerification – will be available for attendees to view in position, fitted within a Corvus Terrain UTV.

HORSE H10 REX

Designed to efficiently charge the battery of a range extended electric vehicle, HORSE H10 REX can deliver up to 70kW of continuous electric power from its 1-liter, 3-cylinder engine that runs on petrol or ethanol. The system is compatible with electrical architectures up to 800V enabling fast charging. It is also designed for emissions level EU6d or PROCONVE L-8.

HORSE K15 REX

The HORSE K15 REX features a 1.5 liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine that can produce 65kW of continuous electrical power through its generator. The powertrain is also compatible with electrical architectures up to 800V, allowing for fast charging. Along with traditional diesel, the engine can also be powered by synthetic diesel or 10% biodiesel.

HORSE M20 REX

The HORSE M20 REX features a 2-liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine capable of producing 105kW of continuous electric power, at emissions level EU6d. Compatible with electrical architectures up to 800V, the M20 offers fast charging and efficient performance for larger agricultural and industrial EVs.

Patrice Haettel, Chief Executive Officer at Horse Technologies Division, said: “Our modular powertrain solutions are designed with performance and efficiency in mind. In addition, they’re also compatible with biofuels, e-fuels, and flex fuel blends — enabling their use in a range of markets. In entering the agricultural powertrain market, Horse Powertrain is proving the value of our systems to off-road industries and reducing the emissions burden of their vehicles."

This deal is Horse Powertrain’s first in the agriculture sector. Corvus is is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of UTVs, with their vehicles designed and produced entirely in Spain. With a range spanning from professional diesel UTVs to 100% electric solutions, the company specializes in robust, safe, and configurable vehicles for the agricultural, industrial, forestry, and defense sectors. This collaboration between Horse Powertrain and Corvus also marks the former’s entry into the market for recreational UTVs and SbS (Side-by-Side) vehicles.

Enric Rabassa, CEO and Chief Engineer at Corvus, said: "For Corvus, working with Horse Powertrain means bringing automotive standards to UTV and SbS that were not previously applied in this sector. This alliance allows us to strengthen our professional offering and, at the same time, confidently explore a real qualitative leap for recreational vehicles. We are convinced that this alliance is the perfect way to accelerate our innovation with European technology that is reliable, enjoyable, and designed for real working conditions.”

Horse Powertrain will exhibit its full range of products at Hall 15, Stand 15H1 at AGRITECHNICA 2025, 9 to 15 November 2025, at the Hanover Expo, Germany.
