What’s New in the Austrian Tirol for Ski 2012-13

The wait is almost over as the new ski season approaches. The Austrian Tirol region has already seen some September snow and the glacier ski resorts on the Stubai and Pitztal opened at the weekend, with Kaunertal and Sölden opening in October. This coming winter 2012-13 the Austrian Tirol will see the opening of the ‘Ski Jewel’ ski area, connecting the Alpbach and Wildschönau valleys, new hotels in St Anton, East Tirol and Kappl, as well as investment in new infrastructure and innovations and new flights direct from Manchester to Innsbruck with Monarch Airlines.Ski Jewel shines brightly
