Leading care, health and housing provider Housing 21 is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted in the Internal Communications category of the 2011 CIPR PRide Awards. There were more than 1,000 entries to this year’s awards, which are run by the professional body for the UK public relations industry.

Housing 21’s submission focused around their ‘Living our Values’ staff awards to recognise and reward those members of staff who go the extra mile. The initiative saw winners receiving a trophy and vouchers as well as attending an ‘Oscar’ style awards ceremony which included a video of the finalists.

Julie Hollings, head of communications for Housing 21 said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for this award. A tremendous amount of work went into this initiative and for it to be recognised by CIPR judges as being among the best makes it all the more worthwhile."

Commenting on the PRide shortlist, Jane Wilson CIPR CEO said: "The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the best PR and campaigns from the profession across the UK. To be shortlisted for an Award demonstrates exemplary achievement, impact and value – immediately putting their work in the spotlight. Congratulations to everyone for reaching this stage."

Winners will be announced at presentation dinners taking place in each of the twelve participating regions from October to December.
