New tool analyzes the likelihood of strategic success
Assessment, a new tool developed by Howwe Technologies, helps business leaders analyze their likelihood of achieveing the increase in profit and revenue that they set out in their strategy - in time. Assessment maps the company's organizational strengths and challenges as well as the CEO's personal prerequisites as leader of the organization. In other words: Factors that affect the likelihood of achieving the business-critical goals in the company's strategy.
Assessment is a set of 30 questions to the CEO that have been developed based on research by, among others, Gartner, McKinsey and data from thousands of teams in the enterprise execution software Howwe. Based on the answers given by the CEO in a 30-minute meeting, a report is generated that shows what likelihood an organization has to succeed with increased revenues and profit according to the plan and its calendar time and what outcome a CEO can expect based on the current situation. The report is a first step on the journey to making a strategy actionable.
"We have developed Assessment to help CEOs get a better idea of the organization's strengths, weaknesses and potential, thereby giving them better conditions to succeed with their financial goals. Companies typically set high targets linked to financial performance but struggle to make them happen in time. A problem we often encounter is that the process of developing a strategy and business plan that is clear and actionable for everyone within an organization takes too long. Many of the company leaders we meet also experience difficulties in communicating and anchoring the plan via the management team, to the function managers and out into the organization so that everyone understands and is involved,” says Johan Grönstedt, Chief Product Officer at Howwe Technologies.
Howwe Technologies has completed around a hundred Assessments to date. Tine Wollebekk, CEO of the credit market company Avida Finance, has recently been through the Assessment with Howwe.
“We analyzed strategically important issues for me as CEO. I liked how easy it was. It required little time and provided a complete assessment of our strategic execution capabilities. The Assessment tool concretized the gap between what we have achieved and what we want to achieve. It confirmed our current situation in a structured way and showed what we need to do differently”, says Tine Wollebekk, CEO at Avida Finance.
Assessment is free of charge and takes about 30 minutes. It is carried out together with a strategy expert at Howwe Technologies. Certain eligibility criteria apply. The application is made here.
