Däumling To Release First Album

Däumling will release their first album on March 18, 2016. In addition to the voice of Steffi Messner, as well as to Trance, Electronic and Motown music, there will be several ballads on the album. The album will be released on CD, and each track will be available as download.

Olav Däumling, head of the band, says: „We will be able to announce the title of the album in a few weeks. I promise this will be a good mix of both up-tempo songs and rather slow ballads. And with Steffi, we got a singer who is able to do an outstanding crossover because of her voice inspired by classical music.”

Prior to the release of the album, there will be several single releases. The video for one of these songs was shot in Munich last weekend, featuring model and dancer Tim Schubert, as well as actress Simone Suko who is known from various films and TV series.

Olav Däumling does not only make music. He lives for it. Since his childhood, his fingers have been on the keyboard, and now they are on the mixing desk as well. For the songs on the upcoming album, Däumling wrote the lyrics, and he has composed, arranged and produced all of them. Däumling took several musicians on board, as well as singer Steffi Messner. She used to sing classical, so Steffi will be able to put her own and extraordinary stamp on the album.
