Release of Christmas Song "Unwrap My Baby" by The Eric Ekstrand Ensemble
After the release of their tribute album "Standard Delivery" on Friday last week, Perseverance Entertainment Group will release a Christmas song by The Eric Ekstrand Ensemble on December 18, 2015. "I'm Gonna Unwrap My Baby for Christmas" will be available for $0.99 and can be downloaded on various services, such as Amazon, iTunes and Yahoo.
The Eric Ekstrand Ensemble is a premier band for Swing, Jump, Standards and Boogie-Woogie, featuring vocalist, pianist, arranger and master entertainer Eric Ekstrand and nine outstanding musicians. Since 1992 they have been exciting audiences with their big sound, thrilling live shows and fun approach to the both retro and modern swing music.
"Standard Delivery" was released on December 11, 2015 as a tribute to Frank Sinatra and to his 100th birthday (born 12/12/1915). The album delivers Eric Ekstrand’s innovative arrangements and soulful vocals on several standard songs from the ’20s to the ’60s. The album features 14 songs, as well as two additional bonus tracks that are on CD exclusively and not available as download.

The Eric Ekstrand Ensemble has performed at some of the top jazz and swing entertainment spots. They are one of the first swing bands regularly scheduled at Hollywood's famous Derby (as seen in the film "Swingers") as well as other haunts including The Jazz Bakery, The Twin Palms, the Atlas and the Coconut Club.
