The Eric Ekstrand Ensemble and Perseverance Entertainment Group To Release Two Albums
The Eric Ekstrand Ensemble and Perseverance Entertainment Group have signed a deal to release two albums worldwide, later this year and early next year. The tracks will be available both on CD and as download.
The Eric Ekstrand Ensemble is a premier band for Swing, Jump, Standards and Boogie-Woogie, featuring vocalist, pianist, arranger and master entertainer Eric Ekstrand and nine outstanding musicians. Since 1992, they have been exciting audiences with their big sound, thrilling live shows and fun approach to both retro and modern swing music.
Eric says: “Our approach is to entertain and excite our audience, and to let them have a good time. They deserve and will always get our best. So we are very happy to release our music on Perseverance, and to give our audience the chance to experience the atmosphere of our shows at home.”

In California, they are one of the first swing bands regularly scheduled at Hollywood's famous Derby (as seen in the film "Swingers") as well as other haunts including The Jazz Bakery, The Twin Palms, the Atlas and the Coconut Club.
