Kalle Tanhuanpää appointed to Huhtamaki's Executive Committee as Chief Marketing Officer The Board of Directors of Huhtamäki Oyj has appointed Mr. Kalle Tanhuanpää (49) as an Executive Committee member and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with effect from January 1, 2002. He is currently President of Leaf Group, the international confectionery operation, which until 1999 was part of Huhtamaki. Mr. Tanhuanpää originally joined Huhtamaki in 1976 and has acquired an extensive international experience in developing and marketing branded consumer products. He has also formerly served on Huhtamaki's Executive Board, in 1998-99. As Chief Marketing Officer, Kalle Tanhuanpää will be in charge of the worldwide development and coordination of Huhtamaki's product categories, marketing concepts and brand architecture. He will also oversee corporate marketing and communications.
