Nomination Committee proposes Magdalena Gerger as new Board member

The Nomination Committee of Husqvarna AB has decided to propose Magdalena Gerger as new Board member. Magdalena Gerger is CEO of Systembolaget AB (Swedish Retail Chain for wines, beers and spirits) and Board member of IKEA (Ingka Holding BV). Previously, she has held managerial and international positions at Arla Foods, Nestlé, ICI Paints and Procter & Gamble. Magdalena holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics and MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. Should Magdalena Gerger be elected as new board member, the Board will be expanded by one member. As communicated in the year-end report 2009, the Nomination Committee has also proposed re-election of Lars Westerberg, Peggy Bruzelius, Börje Ekholm, Tom Johnstone, Ulf Lundahl, Anders Moberg, Robert F. Connolly and Magnus Yngen and election of Ulla Litzén as new member. Gun Nilsson has declined re-election. The members of the Nomination Committee are Petra Hedengran, Investor AB (chairman), Claes Boustedt, LE Lundbergföretagen, Ramsay Brufer, Alecta, Torgny Wännström, AFA Försäkring and Lars Westerberg, Chairman of Husqvarna AB. The full proposal will be included in the notice of the AGM, and published on Husqvarna’s web site, www.husqvarna.com, on 23 March. The AGM will be held on 27 April in Jönköping, Sweden.
