Reinforcer with 25 years of expertise - Matthias von der Malsburg joins Wiesbaden-based green hydrogen pioneer Hy2gen as Head of Sales and Project Development D-A-CH

Wiesbaden, 1 November 2022 - Hy2gen, the globally active project developer of plants for the production of green hydrogen and hydrogen-based e-fuels, can count on a competent new addition with immediate effect: Matthias von der Malsburg now holds the position of Head of Sales and Project Development for the D-A-CH region. Von der Malsburg, who looks back on a 25-year career in energy plant engineering in various management positions, will actively support Hy2gen in becoming the market leader in the production of green hydrogen and hydrogen-based e-fuels.
After a long career at ABB Kraftwerke Service GmbH, Matthias von der Malsburg was employed by the French listed company Alstom S.A. from 2003 to 2015, where his last position was Sales Representative in the Renewable Energy Division. After spending almost three years at GE Wind Energy GmbH as Head of Sales Onshore Wind Services Germany, the Frankfurt native accompanied the energy turnaround in Hesse as Head of Energy at the LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen GmbH (LEA) from 2019 until recently. One focus of von der Malsburg's work there was primarily the establishment of the hydrogen office, the central contact point for the state of Hesse on the topic of hydrogen and fuel cells.
