"We believe that London boasts some of the best markets in the world and we want to shout about it!"Katie Ingham, I Love Markets, CoFounder. www.ilovemarkets.com

We are pleased to announce that the I Love Markets website has now launched. The I Love Markets concept is the first of its kind, bringing together London's most loved markets and market areas online. We want to keep London's markets thriving by giving them the credit that they deserve. London's markets are booming with creativity and culture and offer visitors much more than your regular shopping experience.

The site offers a fantastic opportunity for market organisers, stallholders, shops, and establishments to promote their businesses on the I Love Markets Directory.

Market businesses can create their FREE market directory listing here.

A market-lover's haven, visitors to the site can search the market directory and find a fantastic selection of designers, makers, artists and fashionistas giving them a real sense of what the market has to offer. Users can either search their favourite markets or search across London Boroughs.

Creative, vibrant and fashionable, London has so many fabulous markets, which are all individually special in their own way and we want our visitors to know why. Londoners and tourists alike can now be informed about the hottest places and sellers that werecommend.

ABOUT I LOVE MARKETS

It's simple! I Love Markets bridges the gap between markets and the online world and aims to keep markets relevant and accessible, whilst promoting their buzz to a worldwide audience.

Katie Ingham, I Love Markets Co-founder

"I Love Markets was born from a passion for markets and all the things that can be found within them."

At the age of seven I was buying and trading alongside my parents at antiques markets like Lee Valley, Alexandra Palace and Greenwich Town Hall. I developed an eye for unique and beautiful things and since then I have passionately visited markets across the world looking for that special rare find.

At 15 I was amazed and inspired by iconic markets like Camden and Portobello. The things you can see and buy, the people and the different cultures of markets and the areas surrounding them, was illuminating and still is today. At this time I ran two stalls, a vintage clothing stall and an antique/retro stall at Camden Stables Market, in London. When I was able to get a casual pitch I also sold at Portobello and The Sunday Up Market when it opened in Brick Lane, East London.

Today London's markets have never been better. There is a vast amount of choice and for every type of clientele. From the big commercial enterprises like Camden, to local farmer's markets, pop-up vintage markets and specialist niche markets. London's markets are booming and their different energies are extremely exciting.
