i4C Innovations Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with leading veterinary content provider LifeLearn, Inc. to deliver exclusive, high-quality, and relevant pet owner educational content to VOYCE subscribers

CHANTILLY, VA, January 15, 2014 – i4C Innovations, a subsidiary of Intersections Inc., which unveiled VOYCE, a breakthrough, wearable technology and integrated health and wellness management tool for pets, at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), has announced a strategic partnership with LifeLearn, an educational publisher and interactive media company established within the veterinary and pet-related industries.  This partnership will give VOYCE customers member-only access to exclusive educational content designed to complement the experience and to further differentiate the service.

i4C’s partnership with LifeLearn will provide VOYCE customers with exclusive and direct access to thousands of articles written by top practicing veterinarians, board certified specialists, behaviorists, and other experts.  The content will provide credible information that corresponds with veterinary recommendations allowing VOYCE customers to gain a deeper understanding on a variety of pet-related topics. This gives them an unprecedented opportunity to learn about their dog’s behavior, nutrition, training, and health – and in doing so, helping to “Understand Your Dog Like Never Before”.  Such information can also lead to increased efficiencies in the veterinary hospitals as well as increased compliance outside of the hospital.

At the Consumer Electronics Show, VOYCE was named “Best of CES 2014” by PC World/TechHive and Yahoo! Tech.  VOYCE was also showcased across multiple media organizations including CNN, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and was prominently featured on the TODAY Show.  And, unlike common clip-on pet activity trackers, VOYCE is a revolutionary health band worn comfortably around a dog’s neck, and monitors key vital signs including heart and respiratory rates, along with other wellness indicators, such as activity, rest, calories burned, and more.  “The partnership with LifeLearn further distinguishes VOYCE by allowing customers to easily interpret data in meaningful and actionable ways.  Equally important is the fact that VOYCE allows veterinarians to gain insight into the health of their patients outside of their clinics,” said Jeff Noce, President of i4C Innovations.

Veterinarians, who have relied on LifeLearn to provide continuing education for 20 years, will gain more engaged and more informed clients.  “We at Lifelearn are excited about the partnership with i4C and believe that the veterinary community will benefit greatly from VOYCE, both due to better educated clients and additional business opportunities,” said Mark Stephenson DVM, and Chief Development Officer of Lifelearn.

Based out of Guelph, Ontario, LifeLearn was founded in 1994 after evolving from the Veterinary Continuing Education Program of the Ontario Veterinary College.  A privately held company, LifeLearn has been a long-standing and highly respected provider of educational resources for veterinary and other life science professionals and is recognized by many veterinarians as the authority in pet care information.  Lifelearn also provides solutions for global leaders in the pet industry including Bayer Animal Health, Boehringer Ingelheim, Hill's Pet Nutrition, Merial, Nestle-Purina, Novartis Animal Health, P&G Pet Care, Pfizer Animal Health, and Royal Canin.

Representatives from i4C Innovations and LifeLearn will be at NAVC in Orlando, FL on January 18 – 22 to showcase VOYCE at Booth #4303.
