The hugely successful business club exclusively for women, I AM WOMAN, has announced a milestone moment at The South Wales Franchise Show, as it launched 12 new franchise opportunities. The show took place on Friday 31 January 2014 at the Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff.

I AM WOMAN is searching for 12 talented female entrepreneurs to launch the new I AM WOMAN business clubs around the UK. These women will have a desire to elevate themselves, their profile and their reputation. They will be ready to build their own I AM WOMAN Business Club in their local town or city. The business clubs are only established in areas with a catchment of around 10,000 businesses, with each club looking to recruit 100 members.

Cheryl Bass, creator, founder and managing director of I AM WOMAN stated, “We have been trailing the idea of franchising the I AM WOMAN brand for over a year and now is the perfect time move forward with this perfected model”, Cheryl continues, “We want it to appeal to a wide range of women, which is why we are offering full and part-time opportunities. This is a great chance to work with some like-minded women who all have their own unique ideas on business and networking”.

I AM WOMAN is a dynamic global network of business women. Supported by a franchise network of business clubs with a membership structure exclusively for women, I AM WOMAN is soon to expand across the UK, America and Jamaica. Founded by Cheryl Bass in 2010, one of the 100 brilliant Women in Britain for two years running and Speaker and Trainer of the Year 2012, I AM WOMAN is supported by The Welsh Assembly Government as a Gazelle Company.

There are already three hugely successful I AM WOMAN business clubs in operation; Cardiff, Cheltenham and Swindon. Since 2010, I AM WOMAN has created a distinctive brand, with business club benefits that optimise the development of women in business.

Women dominate the consumer market by 85% and refer 10 times more business than their male counterparts. This market can attract major advertising and sponsorship opportunities for the launch and your ongoing business club meetings.

At the heart of I AM WOMAN is the Aspire programme. Aspire is inspired by Bass’s award-winning research paper, How childhood development impacts upon entrepreneurial posture.

Aspire breaks the code of what makes people do what they do in business and equips women to remove blockages, allowing them to grow as supportive parents, partners and businesswomen. Aspire is recognised by the ILM as an entrepreneurial development programme for women in business.

Elaine Godley, I AM WOMAN franchise director for Swindon stated, “the best thing is the structure, you know what to expect... you know when you come to an I AM WOMAN meeting it’s an I AM WOMAN meeting, whether it’s Swindon, Cheltenham or Cardiff.”

An I AM WOMAN franchise incurs an initial investment is £12,950 + VAT. This is an opportunity that fits around your lifestyle and existing professional roles, as you can chose to run your business club part-time and expect a return of £51,750 per annum or full-time and expect to see £104,500 per annum.
