Nocom becomes Baltic distributor for Utimaco’s security products

Nocom has signed a contract with the German company Utimaco Safeware AG for the distribution of the company’s security solutions in the Baltic States. The companies already work together in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Utimaco is a well-known and established IT security company, specializing in advanced solutions for among other things, hard disk encryption. Nocom will also provide service and support sevices for Utimaco’s products. Utimaco, which has worked with IT security for more than 20 years, has a wide range of market-leading products. Among the most successful is SafeGuard Easy, which automatically encrypts and protects all information on hard disks, making it impossible for unauthorized persons to access the information. The need for this type of solution has increased, not the least to protect information on laptops and handheld computers (PDAs) in the event of theft, for example. The solutions are especially suitable for large and mid-sized companies with many users of laptop computers. Utimaco is already well-known in the Nordic region, and many of the larger commercial banks use Utimaco’s security solutions.
