Uppsala, Sweden—June 29, 2012—IAR Systems® has released a new version of its world-leading embedded development tool suite for the ultra-low-power 16-bit MSP430 microcontroller family from Texas Instruments (TI), and continues to deliver functionality for ease-of-use and high performance. IAR Embedded Workbench® for MSP430, version 5.50, includes a new text editor and source browser. The new editor introduces user-friendly features such as auto-completion, code folding, block selection, block indentation, bracket matching, and zooming.
