IBA Group Conducts Free Training for Belarusian Students

In October 2015, IBA Group conducted a master class on SAP programming and ABAP tools. The training session was held at IBA–BSU IT Competence Center. During the master class, a group of students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of the Belarusian State University (BSU) gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills that they will be able to use in their future career. With support from IBA, BSU joined the SAP University Alliance partner program in 2012 and the IBA–BSU IT Competence Center was appointed as SAP Academic Competence Center.

On October 19, IBA Group launched the new training course Business Analytics and Introduction to Big Data for the students of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR). The training is conducted at the IBA–BSUIR Academic Center of IBM Competences located in Minsk, Belarus and within the IBA Group's CSR Program. Of 50 applicants, 15 best students were selected to attend the course.

The training program consists of two parts:

  • IBM Сognos Business Intelligence. The course is based on the solving of real–life problems.
  • Big Data, IT environment to work with big data. The course includes basic theory of building the systems and IT environment for the processing of structured and unstructured data. In addition, the students will study the technology of building NoSQL databases and new file systems.

On October 5, IBA–BSU IT Competence Center started a new practice–oriented program in multiplatform programming for students of the Belarusian State University. Of 60 applicants, 20 were selected. The participants will be working with IBA specialists for three months to gain practical knowledge in modern mainframes.
