About Us

Established in 2010, IBC SOLAR UK Ltd is a distributor of high-quality photovoltaic (PV) systems, comprising modules, inverters, mounting systems and monitoring equipment. Based in Oxford, and with dedicated area managers and a UK distribution centre in Thame, the company supports installers nationwide. The company distributed 7MWp of modules and 20MWp of inverters during 2011. IBC SOLAR UK is part of the IBC SOLAR group. Founded in 1982 by solar visionary Udo Möhrstedt, the IBC SOLAR group focuses solely on PV. As a group, IBC SOLAR has implemented more than 120,000 PV systems all over the world with a total output of 1.7 GWp. The group achieved €971m turnover in 2010. The IBC SOLAR group remains a private business with a family ethos at the heart of the organisation.
