Brazilian pharmaceutical distributor chooses software from IBS IBS has signed a new contract for IBS Pharma, IBS' market-leading supply chain management and distribution software for pharmaceutical wholesalers. The contract was signed with Audifar in Brazil. Audifar, with a revenue of USD 200m, is one of the leading and fastest growing pharmaceutical wholesalers in the Sao Paolo region. Last year, Audifar almost doubled its revenue through acquisitions. The new software will help Audifar handle customer relations, manage growth and integrate their business processes. - Today we are using different systems for the business operations at our different locations, as well as for our financial control and reporting, says Elizeu Bueno, CEO of Audifar. With the new IBS software we will achieve an effective operations control, reducing costs and increasing our performance as a distributor of pharmaceutical products. - We found in IBS the best partnership to support and develop our business with security, commitment, functionality and lower costs, says Celso Pereira, Financial Manager of Audifar. IBS Pharma is based on IBS´ ASW business software and consists of components for supply chain automation, warehouse and inventory management, logistics planning, sales call planning, customer relations management, finance management, business analysis and e-commerce. The solution can process more than 2 million orders per hour in a productive environment. It speeds up sales and purchase processing, optimises stock, minimises errors and out-of-stock situations, and enhances logistics planning. - This order shows that we have a very competitive solution for pharmaceutical wholesalers also for the Brazilian and Latin American market, says Alberto Milheiro, MD, IBS Brazil. - This market sector, with very challenging demands on its software solutions, is very interesting for IBS, says Magnus Wastenson, VP Global Marketing for the IBS Group. We see a huge global potential and growth opportunity for IBS Pharma.
