Erik Heilborn appointed President and CEO of IBS

The IBS Board of Directors has appointed Erik Heilborn new President and CEO of IBS AB, listed on the O-List (Attract 40) of the Stockholm Stock Exchange. He will succeed Magnus Wastenson, who has been President since 2002. Erik Heilborn comes most recently from the position of Senior Vice President responsible for the Business segment of TeliaSonera Sweden. He will join IBS not later than April 1, 2006.

Erik Heilborn is 43 and has been active within TeliaSonera since 2001, first as President of Telia International Carrier and thereafter in his current position as Senior Vice President responsible for the Business segment of TeliaSonera Sweden. Previously, Erik was President and CEO of Telenordia and held various sales positions within Sprint International, BT Worldwide and Digital Equipment. “After an exhaustive recruitment process, we are very pleased to be able to present a new President of IBS. Eric Heilborn has a M. Sc. in Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. IBS’ current President, Magnus Wastenson, will leave his position as President when Erik Heilborn assumes his duties but remain at the company’s disposal until May 9, 2006.
