IBS acquires company targeting the real estate market IBS has acquired all shares in Vertex Data System AB, specialists in software and services for the housing and real estate market. The company has 18 employees. Vertex' operations will be integrated with IBS' Swedish real estate unit, IBS Vertex, whereby the unit will have some 300 customers and 35 employees in Sweden. - Housing companies are expected to increase their investment in software and services over the next few years, says Kjell Sandström, MD of IBS Konsult AB, of which the real estate unit is a part. We believe there will be continued strong growth in this area. IBS' recently launched software for housing companies has won considerable market attention. It offers a new dimension of support for e.g. customer quality and sales processes within housing administration. This autumn, some ten customers will have already installed the new software, which utilises mobile communication and the Internet in its customer and supplier processes. - Also in the UK, IBS is one of the leading software providers for the housing market. This year alone, IBS has sold some 30 new systems in the UK.
