IBS Dynaman Provides a Tasty Warehouse Management Solution for Vergeer Holland
International Business Systems AB (IBS) has announced another important sale of its Dynaman Warehouse Management System to Vergeer Holland in the Netherlands. Vergeer Holland is a national and international distributor of locally made own brand and private label cheese products to specialty cheese shops, processing plants, supermarkets and wholesalers.
Vergeer Holland had implemented Microsoft Dynamics Navision as its core ERP system in 2006, but had never been satisfied with the warehouse management capabilities of the system. They worked with a company to help develop and implement a WMS system to meet their needs, but found this increasingly difficult and abandoned the project. By 2010, it became clear that because of increased workload and growth within the company, Vergeer Holland needed to implement a more advanced WMS.
Ron Kortleve, Logistics Manager at Vergeer Holland explains, “Our warehousing and distribution requirements were becoming more complex and we were concerned that a lot of the crucial information we needed to manage the business effectively was held in the heads of a few people within the company. We needed to implement a solution that gave us better control of the warehousing operations, help lower stock and improve our sales forecasting.
