IBS launches new software for Internet business to business IBS is launching its new software, Internet Connection e2, for integrated business to business electronic commerce. The launch will take place at IBM's international event, the "Global Supply Chain Executive Conference" in Las Vegas. IBS has a major presence at the conference, which gathers the world's leading suppliers within Supply Chain Management. Internet Connection e2 offers a complete solution for e-commerce, and is fully integrated with the underlying purchasing, logistics and information processes. With its flexible design and funtionality, Internet Connection e2 is easily adapted to suit each user's needs, allowing our customers to fully serve their customers. Using new built-in tools for design and optimisation of security and performance, our customers can set up advanced Internet operations very quickly, says Staffan Ahlberg, CEO of IBS. The first pilot customer to install the system is Roland Corporation in Los Angeles, the leading international manufacturer and distributor of electronic musical instruments. Less than 24 hours after IBS installed the new software in Roland's server, Internet Connection e2 was up and running, ready to take online orders over the Internet.
