IBS signs letter of intent with Infor regarding sale of non core subsidiaries

IBS has signed a letter of intent with Infor to divest four European subsidiaries. The divestiture of non-core operations is a step in the development of IBS to focus operations on international supply chain management software solutions within selected vertical segments.

The agreement with Infor covers the transfer of all IBS operations working with Infor’s ERP XA software. The subsidiaries are located in Sweden, Denmark, France and Spain and employ a total of 45 people. IBS is expected to receive a cash payment of EUR 3.0 m resulting in a small capital gain for IBS. The transaction date is scheduled for May 2, 2006 and is subject to due diligence. “By divesting our non-core subsidiaries, we will be able to further invest in and strengthen our core application verticals”, says Peter Hörwing, VP Global Sales & Marketing, IBS AB.
