IBS wins order from leading Australian building materials supplier IBS has signed a deal with Laminex Industries in Melbourne for ASW business software. With ASW, Laminex will benefit from an efficient e- business and supply chain system, that integrates the management of purchasing, sales and distribution in 43 sites all over Australia. The total order value is some SEK 12m. The order is well-timed for IBS, as the company recently established a new subsidiary in Australia to drive expansion in the Australian market. With local business partners included, IBS already has some 45 employees in Australia. - The Australian market for software solutions within e-business and supply chain management is growing rapidly, says Staffan Wensing, new MD for IBS Australia. IBS software has received considerable market attention here, and we forecast a very satisfactory sales development. IBS specialises in business systems for distribution and supply chain companies. We therefore see major opportunities in the Australian market, where many competitors primarily market systems targeting manufacturers.
