IBS wins SEK 45 million deal in the UK IBS UK have signed a SEK 45 million contract to supply Macfarlane Packaging with IBS' leading edge business software for advanced e- commerce and supply chain management. The new system will enable Macfarlane to completely integrate their order fulfillment process and give customers a choice of deciding the best supply chain strategy for satisfying their business requirements. The IBS solution will serve as the backbone to Macfarlane's business process. Macfarlane's decision to place the order with IBS was based on IBS' pedigree, IBS' focus on integrated distribution and demand-driven manufacturing, the software's strong financial function, IBS' experience of project delivery and the speed with which IBS are able to implement the project. Another important factor was IBS' ownership of all of the elements of the project - software, hardware and installation.
